At Camp SD Hospital, we believe that skills can break stereotypes. Through our plumber training program, women were trained in essential plumbing techniques, safety protocols, and customer interaction—preparing them not just for jobs, but for independent self-employment.

Participants from diverse backgrounds joined with great enthusiasm. Most had never imagined themselves in such a technical role, but their dedication and energy turned the program into a milestone of empowerment and success.

This initiative is part of Camp SD Hospital’s larger mission to open doors for women in fields traditionally dominated by men. By providing hands-on learning and career guidance, we are helping them build confidence, earn a livelihood, and inspire change in their communities.
