Jal Jevan mission Barabanki

Kamla Mahila proudly participated in the Jal Jeevan Mission in Barabanki district, supporting the Government of India’s vision to provide safe and adequate drinking water to every rural household through individual household tap connections.

As part of the mission, our team actively worked on community awareness, capacity building, and mobilization of women to take charge of water quality, hygiene, and sustainable water usage practices in their villages.

The focus was not just on infrastructure, but also on empowering local women as Jal Sakhis, who were trained to monitor water sources, report issues, and spread awareness about water conservation and cleanliness.
