At Camp SD Hospital, we don’t just heal—we empower. Through our Women Plumber Training Program, we took a step beyond traditional healthcare by training women in plumbing skills that promote cleanliness, hygiene, and self-reliance.

The initiative focused on:
Teaching basic and advanced plumbing skills
Ensuring knowledge of sanitation and water safety
Encouraging women to take up maintenance roles in homes, clinics, and hospitals
Promoting self-employment opportunities in the healthcare support sector
Women from underprivileged backgrounds participated with incredible spirit. Many had no prior experience, yet they learned to handle tools, understand pipe systems, and manage repairs—skills that also support healthier living environments.
